I photographed this scene on my winter 2018 visit to Zion National Park. I spent much of the morning wandering through the east side of the park, and returned to the main canyon in the afternoon. I was stopped in my tracks by the beauty of this scene, and how it had a very poetic feel to it. Though I have walked past this scene countless times, I hadn't noticed it years past. That's one of the reasons why I love returning to the same locations. I always seem to find something new.
