I photographed this scene on my fall 2014 visit to Zion National Park. This is a scene that I attempted to photograph during my winter trip of the same year. I stood there in the cold waiting for the glow to happen, but at the very last minute, a cloud blocked the sun and killed the light.

When I returned 9 months later for my fall trip, it was my goal to photograph this scene. This glow does not last very long, so I only had time to expose a few sheets of film before it rapidly faded away.
