My goal is to create simple, structured, and calm images of nature. I absolutely love working with large format film because of the inherent limitation, and the strong sense of discipline that is required. These limitations help to shape the final image by giving me a sense of direction. Nearly all of the photos on my website were photographed on 8x10 film, and a few of my earlier images were photographed on 4x5 film.
I am truly honored if you choose to hang my work in your home, office, or business. To purchase archival pigment prints, or one of box set portfolios, please visit the Prints & Box Sets section.
In late 2009, I began documenting my adventures with video journals. As viewership has increased, I have taken steps to increase the quality and content of these videos. My goal is to bring you along for the ride. I want you to see what I saw, and feel what I felt at each location. Be sure to check out my Youtube Channel and my Blog to follow along on my adventures across the western United States. If you want to check out some of my embarrassingly bad videos from 10 years ago, be sure to stop by my Video Journal Archive.
If you have followed my journey on my youtube channel and would like to contribute to help me follow my dream, please visit the Donation Page to learn how to support me.
