My adventure journal is a soft-bound 48 page full color publication produced with book-quality printing on heavyweight 100% recycled high-end paper stock. It includes 27 photographs and is more than 10 pages longer than last year. The final printed size of my periodical is (wait for it…) 8 x 10 inches. Big surprise, I’m sure.

Volume four contains my favorite work from the fall of 2025 to the spring of 2026. As with last year’s edition, all of the type in this year’s volume is handwritten for a unique and personal presentation. It’s a truly unique offering in the world of landscape photography.

Standard and Premium Edition

The publication is available as both the standard edition, and the premium edition. Both copies will be signed, but the premium edition includes a print of “Wind-Carved” on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta at the same specs as the prints offered in my print portfolios. This print will be signed on the back with pencil, and is not otherwise included in my 2026 print portfolio. The paper measures 8” x 10” and the image itself is 7.2” x 9.2”. I personally produce each print on my Epson P7000 using archival pigment ink.

Early Birds Can Win a Sheet of Film

All orders for my 2026 adventure journal placed within the first week (through August 29) will be automatically entered into a free bonus of an actual sheet of my exposed and developed 8×10 film from one of my trips. The sheet of film will be slipped into a random adventure journal along with a note about the story behind the sheet of film. (Members of eligible tiers on Patreon that receive a copy of the Adventure journal are automatically entered in the bonus)

Shipping in September

As with last year, the adventure journal will begin shipping during the month of September. I ordered only 280 copies this year (20 less than last year), and have already received them from the print shop. My goal is to fulfill all print portfolio orders first, followed by individual orders for my adventure journal.

International Customers

For international customers, my shipping price of ($18) is a couple dollars less than my actual shipping expense to most countries, and for certain countries, I pay between $22 and $35 for the actual shipping price. I realize $18 is a sizable amount in relation to the price of the adventure journal, but please realize I’m taking a loss on the shipping to help make it more reasonable for you. Ordering the zine bundled with a print portfolio helps a bit with the shipping cost.
