reflected light zine // volume three (2025) PREORDER
reflected light zine // volume three (2025) PREORDER
A zine is a soft-bound magazine-style publication less formal than a book, allowing for a greater sense of experimentation. The final printed size of my zine is (wait for it…) 8 x 10 inches. Big surprise, I’m sure.
Volume three contains my favorite work from the fall of 2024 to the spring of 2025. As with last year’s zine, all of the type in this year’s volume is handwritten for a unique and personal presentation.
The 36 page full color zine is produced on 100% recycled uncoated paper stock, and includes 21 photographs. The final number of copies based primarily on the number of preorders. After the fulfillment of all preorders, only a limited number of copies will be available.
This year’s volume takes design cues from last year’s, but with a variety of tweaks to improve upon it. The photo on this page is a mock-up of the design. The final design will be submitted to the printer and produced during the month of August. Also shown is the print that’s included with the premium version of this zine.
Note: If you’re interested in both my 2025 print portfolio AND the zine,
special bundle pricing is available when ordering my 2025 print portfolio.
Standard and Premium Edition
The zine is available as both the standard edition, and the premium edition. Both copies will be signed, and the difference is that the premium edition includes a print of “Portrait of Music” on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta at the same specs as the prints offered in my print portfolios. This print will be signed on the back with pencil, and is not otherwise included in my 2025 print portfolio. The paper measures 8” x 10” and the image itself is 7.2” x 9.2”. I personally produce each print on my Epson P7000 using archival pigment ink.
Shipping in September
In past years, my zine shipped in late November following my fall trip, but this year’s zine will begin shipping in September. Rather than following the calendar year, I’ve shifted the starting point of my annual collection to the fall, allowing me to produce the zines and print portfolios during the quiet summer months. As such, preorders will begin in mid August, and I will begin shipping orders during the month of September.
International Customers
For international customers, my shipping price of ($16) is a couple dollars less than my actual shipping expense to most countries, and for certain countries, I pay between $22 and $35 for the actual shipping price. I realize $16 is a sizable amount in relation to the price of the zine, but please realize I’m taking a loss on the shipping to help make it more reasonable for you. Ordering the zine bundled with a print portfolio helps a bit with the shipping cost.
