I photographed this intimate landscape on my fall 2016 visit to Zion National Park. It rained a bit overnight, and large drops of water gathered on the leaves of a maple tree leaning over this section of the wash. These water drops fell from those leaves, and left a wonderful pattern of dots on the wet sand in the wash below. I loved the harmony between the raindrops and the fallen leaves.
