I photographed this scene on my spring 2024 backpacking trip to the canyons of southern Utah. I found this interesting scene with three bushes against a wall of sandstone, but on the morning I was hoping to photograph it, a handful of clouds in the sky spoiled the reflected light. This was on the morning I was returning to my truck after having spent several nights in the canyon. Rather than moving on to my next location, I stayed at the trailhead overnight, then returned to this scene the following morning when the weather was better.
