I photographed this scene on my fall 2024 trip to Zion National Park. Several storms swept through the park on that visit, thoroughly soaking the pine litter at the foot of a large ponderosa pine. I loved the consistency of this scene, and how the pine needles stood out from the rain-soaked forest floor.
