I photographed this scene on my spring 2013 backpacking trip to the Colorado Plateau. While scrambling around, I found this wonderful scene with two large boulders set against an enormous wall covered in desert varnish. I took this on my final morning in the canyon when the scene was bathed in warm reflected light.
