I photographed this scene on a November 2025 visit to Coyote Buttes North in Arizona. One year earlier, I visited this same location on an incredibly windy day and was not able to take any photos in the morning, but the wind was calm on this particular visit, which gave me the ability to work with the warm reflected morning light.
